The Hard Questions: 100 Essential Questions to Ask Before You Say "I Do" by Susan Piver

I had mixed feelings about this book because if you are ready, in theory, to say I do, then I feel like you should already know the answers to the hard questions (not only your future spouses responses, but also your own). But, if you are reading the questions and realize that you dont know the answers (either you thought you knew someone well enough, but you didnt, or you simply havent had the time to develop that knowledge of yourself or another), then the book offers very little guidance to remedy the situation other than the generic imperative to discuss. If you are already engaged and the marriage plans are progressing, there is the sense that not knowing the answers doesnt matter because things are already happening; likewise, if you are no where near being engaged or planning your marriage, then there is the sense that the answers dont matter because its too soon or rushing things. Maybe if you read the book at the exact, perfect moment in time, then it could be of some use to you.
