I hope you will forgive me some indulgence today. It was a twinkle in my eye almost from the moment I set the blog up six years ago and, you could say, it has been almost as long in the gestation. But from today it goes out into the world and is available to buy — from all good bookshops as the saying goes. I do wonder what books are available in the bad bookshops…. Now I thought perhaps I would take the opportunity today to explain a little bit about how this book came out and what I wanted to do with it. Because it seem to me that most books of this nature are the so-called coffee table books, which means they are all about the pictures and no-one really cares about the words. And I was damned if I was going to write 40, words for people to flick through while oohing and aahing at the images.
So where to start? Which is where we come to you. Before anything else I want to say thank you to all of you for reading and commenting and helping the blog to become what it is today. Without you, the blog would not exist and there would be no book. Now what else can I tell you?
The book of the UK's No.1 interiors blog, capanoglunakliyat.coming on her award-winning blog, Kate Watson-Smyth shares a wealth of experience in.

But for those of you that might not have come across her award winning, No. Kate Watson-Smyth is a journalist with over 15 years of experience writing about interiors for publications such as the Financial Times, the Independent, and the Daily Mail, and the author of Shades of Grey. Her blog, madaboutthehouse. She regularly hosts talks forecasting future trends for clients including Elle Decoration and Anthropologie. I still have my copy in our living room. Definitely another one to add to your bookshelf. The title, taken from the name of her multi-award winning blog, pretty much sums up what this book is all about.
